I've been coming to Lupitas for ten years and have never gotten bored of it. Everything tastes great consistently. Service is good. Salsas and Homemade chili sauce is bomb. Cozy restaurant with interesting wall art. I'll be keep coming back.

Tasty food, homey ambiance and attentive service. It was a little pricey for a small mom and pop restaurant, but I suppose everything is pricey these days. This will be a new go-to for homey Mexican food for me.

We were from out of town and stopped by for dinner after a long day on the road. The whole experience was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!! The chips and salsa were exceptional. The beer was cold and served with a chilled glass and lime. If I lived nearby I would be a regular.

Just plain Good !!!! Good service, great attitudes, Very tasty food. Generous servings. Hits the spot !

Had a bean and cheese on my bean and cheese addicted 2 month hiatus. Not the best but not the worst. But really is off the chain though, was the salsas they gave me. All of them were the bomb! And upon walking in to pick up my order, it's now legit. It smelled like a proper Chicano joint just like the types of restaurants that I remember growing up with in the greater SGV. Respect their salsa game!

Lupita's is our "go to" when we need casual, real deal Mexican food. It's always consistent and service is great. This last visit I ordered the Machaca plate. My wife ordered a chicken taco & cheese enchilada combo. Prices are good and the people are very nice. And as you can see, they give you a lot! Gotta love this local joint that always delivers!

The kitchen at Lupita's might be small, but they sure are fast. I was really craving enchiladas, and luckily for me enchiladas suizas is on the menu. The plate came probably 5 minutes after I ordered, and someone in the kitchen is paying attention because it's a really nice lookng plate of food. Everything is hot and delicious. They start you with chips and *2 kinds* of salsa. The green one is definitely my fave. Service was great, and my iced tea got refilled so was happy about that. This is in a very crowded mini mall and there's not a lot of parking. Lupita's is in the corner opposite Plate 38 and definitely worth a try.

This place is a solid 3.5 stars. I can see myself coming back here when in need of a carne asada burrito fix--which let's be real, is very often. A good addition to my local eats rotation. I ordered the carne asada burrito. The meat was well seasoned, not too salty. Everything came together well and was a great, hearty meal. My husband ordered the shrimp burrito, wet. I think you can get all the burritos wet or dry. The sauce and cheese were super flavorful on his shrimp burrito, but noted the sauce pretty much overtakes the burrito, for better or worse. For what it's worth, we both like the sauce. Our food came with chips, which I always appreciate! Busy during meal times. We ordered ahead by calling in, but they're relatively popular, so husband noted he needed to hang out a little before good was ready, but no big deal.
